The Chairman of the Board of the Kuwait Transparency Society, Dr. Salah Mohammad Al-Ghazali (R), holding some elections-related items during a meeting with volunteers in Kuwait City. About 30 international observers, mostly from the Arab Network for Election Democracy, will monitor the election, along with 300 local volunteers. About 30 international observers and 300 local volunteers will monitor the election in which more than 400,000 Kuwaiti men and women are eligible to vote to elect a new 50-member National Assembly (parliament).
